Orders & Shipping

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes. Orders over $199 (CAD) ship free anywhere in Canada. For smaller orders, shipping is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.

How long will my order take?

Orders are processed within 2 to 14 business days. Many fixtures ship directly from the manufacturer, so timing can vary by brand. You will receive a tracking email as soon as your order ships, and we will contact you if there is any delay.

Can I pick up my order?

We no longer offer in-store pickup. All orders are shipped to the address provided at checkout.

What currency are your prices in?

All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD).

What if an item is backordered?

If a product you ordered is delayed at the manufacturer, we will email you with the expected shipping date. In-stock items usually ship within 5 business days.

Returns

What is your return policy?

You can request a return within 14 days of receiving your order, with no restocking fees. Items must be unused, uninstalled and in their original packaging. Sale and clearance items are final sale. See our full Shipping & Returns policy.

My item arrived damaged. What should I do?

Please contact us right away at sales@lvlighting.ca with your order number and photos of the item and packaging, and we will make it right.

Choosing the right light

What size chandelier do I need?

A simple rule of thumb: add the length and width of the room in feet, and use that number in inches as the chandelier diameter. For example, a 12 ft by 14 ft dining room suits a chandelier around 26 inches wide. Over a dining table, hang the bottom of the fixture about 30 to 36 inches above the tabletop.

What do the colour temperature numbers mean?

Colour temperature is measured in Kelvin (K). 2700K to 3000K gives a warm, cozy light ideal for living and dining areas; 3500K to 4000K is a neutral white popular in kitchens and bathrooms; 5000K is a bright, daylight white. Many of our LED fixtures let you select the colour temperature.

Are your fixtures dimmable?

Many are. Each product's Specifications section lists whether it is dimmable and which type of dimmer it works with (for example Triac, ELV or 0-10V).

Can you help me choose?

Absolutely. Our free lighting design service is available in the Vancouver area: our consultant can visit your property and prepare lighting specs and a quote at no cost. You can also try our virtual try-on to see a fixture in your own space.

Do you install fixtures?

Yes, in the Vancouver area we offer a flat-rate installation service. See our installation service page for details, or call 604-233-1998 to book.

Do you work with builders and designers?

Yes. Our Builder, Designer & Stager Program offers special pricing and dedicated support for trade projects.
