How to size foyer lighting
Add the foyer's length and width in feet. The total, in inches, is a good starting diameter. For two-storey foyers, go up a size so the fixture holds its own in the space.
Keep at least 7 feet of clearance below the fixture. In a two-storey entry, centre it in an upper window or hang it level with the second floor.
