How to choose wall lights
Wall sconces add soft, layered light in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and stairs. Mount most sconces about 60 to 66 inches from the floor, and space them 6 to 8 feet apart along a wall.
In bathrooms, light the mirror with a vanity light above or a pair of sconces at the sides. A vanity light should be about 75% of the mirror's width.
