How to choose crystal chandeliers
A crystal chandelier adds sparkle to a dining room, foyer or primary bedroom. Size it like any chandelier: add the room's length and width in feet and use that number in inches as the approximate diameter. In double-height entries, a taller tiered or multi-level design fills the vertical space.
Crystal quality affects how much light the fixture throws around the room. Look at the crystal type listed in each product's details, and choose clear bulbs or LED sources that make the crystals sparkle.

Turn off the power, let the fixture cool, then wipe crystals with a soft lint-free cloth and a mild glass cleaner. For heavier cleaning, remove crystals and wash them by hand.
What size crystal chandelier do I need?
Add the room's length and width in feet and use that total in inches as the diameter. Over a dining table, keep the fixture about 12 inches narrower than the table.
Are crystal chandeliers hard to install?
They take more time because of the number of crystals, and larger fixtures are heavy. We recommend a licensed electrician and a ceiling box rated for the weight.
