How to choose modern chandeliers
Modern chandeliers often use integrated LED, which means no bulbs to replace and slim profiles that would not be possible with traditional sockets. Many offer dimming and selectable colour temperature.
For open-concept spaces, a linear modern chandelier defines a dining or island area without blocking sightlines. Size it to about two thirds of the table length, and hang it 30 to 36 inches above the surface.

Most can be dimmed with a compatible dimmer, such as an ELV, TRIAC or 0-10V model. The required type is listed in the specifications.
